Lord, I Would Follow Thee

Who am I to judge another, when I walk imperfectly? In the quiet heart is hidden sorrow that the eye can’t see.

I’ve always been better at expressing myself through music rather than words. So rather than rambling on this time, I’m just going to post the lyrics and the video.

This hymn has meant a lot to me.

Savior, may I learn to love thee,
Walk the path that thou hast shown,
Pause to help and lift another,
Finding strength beyond my own.
Savior, may I learn to love thee–
Lord, I would follow thee.

Who am I to judge another
When I walk imperfectly?
In the quiet heart is hidden
Sorrow that the eye can’t see.
Who am I to judge another?–
Lord, I would follow thee.

I would be my brother’s keeper;
I would learn the healer’s art.
To the wounded and the weary
I would show a gentle heart.
I would be my brother’s keeper–
Lord, I would follow thee.

Savior, may I love my brother
As I know thou lovest me,
Find in thee my strength, my beacon,
For thy servant I would be.
Savior, may I love my brother–
Lord, I would follow thee.

While I have enjoyed all of your music, the beautiful quiet hymns like your last addition are my favorite. I only dream of someday being able to play as well as you do. Your delivery is awesome, Thank you.

I’ve tried to make a cover of one of your renditions “Families Can Be Together Forever” and dedicated it to my wife and baby boy who are away from me now. They absolutely loved it! I know that someday I will see them again. Thanks for sharing your talent in the way that you do. It is uniquely crafted and mind blowing. I listen to it while walking to work everyday. Hope you can also make a rendition of Gethsemane by Roger and Melanie Hoffman as well. Keep up the good work!

    Ben,

Wow ! listening to and watching you play “Lord I will follow thee” brought tears to my eyes. You play with such feeling and emotion. The talent you have and the true love you
have for the hymns come through in every piece you play.

My kids ask me for some gift ideas this year for my birthday. Your CD’s will be at the top of my list!
